So, how's this "Test Weekend" thing work?
Does the live game server become a test server for the whole weekend?
Does everyone download an update or is it only for willing participants? The info posted here doesn't address the mechanics of the "test". |

HA will not be in kansas anymore this weekend.... If you are there, it'll be changed... If you like it, say so on the special forum Inde et al setup, If you don't: say so in the forum, If you think the changes sidestep the issue and are just a reskin: yup, say so in the forum. Seems all very straightforward.

Well, it's kinda funny, been playing Guild wars for nearly 2 years and have all 3 Campaigns but don't have any character of mine that has reached Heroes Ascent.
Hell, I barely know what HA is...I thought it had something to do with Ascending in the first Campaign... As for the reasons: partly because I never found an active guild to call home (in a guild of one atm) and partly because I despise PuGs in Guild Wars. I'll get there eventually, I suppose. |

But the only definate answer you'll ever get is what you will experience when the weekend is here. |

But to say this isn't a good idea... nah. It's a welcome change and will likely revive HA another time, and bring new builds. ...Hopefully. |

So if you're running on a slow connection, be sure to use the -image option to download everything while you eat dinner or watch a movie. |

You do know broadband isn't available from all ISPs in certain areas?
When I moved to my local residence the only way I could keep Earthlink was either dial up (I would never) or satellite (overkill). I left em and those bastards made me pay for the remainder of the contract. >.> |
